My name is Michael Rice. On IRC Im known as "errr" My home page can be found here Im a full time student currently working on a BS in Computer Science and Math. I have a certification in networking that I got from Odessa College when I thought I wanted to be a network guy, but I quickly learned I hated all the classes I had to take that were 100% about how windows worked and not about "networking" in general. I dont care how MS does it, I wanted to know the theroy behind it so I decided to change to computer science. I was far enough along in the program to get a certification though.

As you may or may not be able to tell I dont care for M$ at all. I have been using Linux and FreeBSD as my primary OS for the last 5 years now. I enojy writting PERL, Python, Java, and PHP. I am looking forward to learning as many more programming languages as I can. Here is a picture of me going to do one of my favorite things in the world, going to a meeting with my fellow LUG members. Im an active member of the PBLUG, its something I enojy very much.
